I have been working in the fitness industry since 2014, offering group classes and personal training sessions in Cambridge.
I entered the industry as a result of my own personal journey to improve my fitness, both physical and mental. As a single parent, I was suffering from seizures and anxiety attacks and I was advised to try exercising.
I began like many people, privately with home exercise DVDs, and I found that my anxiety issues did begin improving. So, I made the next step by joining a gym and taking up running, adding more structure to my routine. Over time, the positive effects on my physical and mental fitness were profound, giving me the confidence to challenge myself and reach such personal goals as running the Paris marathon and training to become a professional fitness instructor.

My journey and these experiences are familiar to many of my clients, who I now share my passion for exercise with. I thoroughly enjoy watching clients getting fitter, stronger and growing in confidence – it's what I love about my job. The pride we take together in each new achievement motivates me too, as I find I am constantly on the lookout for the next training course to broaden my skill-set, giving me new ways to motivate others and make sure my clients stay focused as they set and then achieve new fitness goals.
