Circuit training is a style of workout where you cycle through a variety of complimentary exercises targeting different muscle groups with minimal rest in between. This is great for your metabolism, as keeping your heart rate high for the full duration of the workout causes your body to maintain an elevated metabolism for 24 hours afterward.
The combination of exercises in the circuit produces a workout that builds your muscular strength, endurance and your cardiorespiratory system all in one hit, giving you maximum results.
By using your entire body to it’s full potential, we create one of the most productive workout routines imaginable. The combination of weight training and increased cardiovascular exercise makes it extremely effective for weight loss and overall fitness. You are burning fat, but also gaining muscle in all areas through resistance training.
Each week I will change the circuit, using a mixture of body weight exercises as well as weights and other sport equipment. This will keep you on your toes and allow you to enjoy a varied, fun and stimulating workout each week.
